about

HOW TO:

- Do it when you have fifteen minutes to spare
- Do it when you can actually ignore your phone
- Put your phone on airplane mode just in case
- Wear as good of a pair of headphones as you can (over-ear as opposed to earbuds recommended but not necessary)
- Situate yourself in a space where you feel safe enough to close your eyes and meditate, if you can lie down, even better.

Infer/Know invites the auditor to listen, take a walk inside their mind, unhear, and question the methods of knowing and hearing that led us to this point in human and planetary history. Not unlike Dante, or Oliveros herself, we walk together from the edge of the city down into a gorge in the earth, where it sounds much different and the ear may deceive us. If radical imagination can spring from such experiments, what else may we unhear, unlearn?

about

J.T. Makoviecki Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

I've been making music since I could sing to James Brown and Phil Collins as a 3 year old. Ever since I've recorded however possible: tape deck, 8track, MacBook, etc. I use raw recording techniques and low-fi equipment to make music with my friends.

enjoy.
